This is the first blog or journal entry to the Hearts of Texas Project, a docu-reality style series that follows the women of Goliad Pet Adoption, as they attempt to rescue, rehabilite, and adopt all the abandoned and abused animals in their small South Texas town. They have no proper facility, just homes of the local fosters, and a make shift barn.
